Birthday Decoration in Delhi at Home, Halls & Midnight Surprises

Birthday Decoration in Delhi Without the Running Around

For the best birthday decoration in Delhi without a trip to Sadar Bazaar for balloons, book Giftlaya. Pick your design and time online, and our decorator reaches your flat, builder floor or kothi with the balloons, foils, lights and backdrop, builds the whole setup and leaves with the packing.

Prices for a birthday setup in Delhi start from ₹1,499, with no extra charge for the balloons, the decorating or the drive over. Most designs only need a two to three hour head start.

Ideas for Kids, Couples and Grown-Up Birthdays

• Toddlers: Peppa Pig, Boss Baby, Cocomelon, Minions or a jungle full of animals, through our kids birthday decoration.
• Older kids: Frozen, unicorns, the Avengers, dinosaurs, football or an astronaut theme.
• Six months old: a half birthday arch with a banner that says so.
• The first birthday: pastel arches and rings, from our birthday decoration for baby girl and for baby boy.
• Husband or wife: a golden room with balloons across the bed, or a surprise room with champagne and heart foils. Browse our birthday decoration for husband or for wife for more.
• Grown-up parties: a bohemian backdrop with pampas grass and the name on it, or a ring with a neon sign for a 21st or 30th.
• Parents: a 50th with a chrome ring and the age in LED, or a simple gold setup for a 60th.

Birthday Decoration Rates in Delhi

Here is roughly where each budget lands:

• ₹1,499 to ₹2,200: a golden or black and gold room surprise, a car boot surprise, or a small Peppa Pig, Boss Baby or Minions setup.
• ₹2,200 to ₹4,000: balloon arches with the age on a pillar, half birthday setups, surprise rooms with champagne foils, and Frozen, Avengers or wild forest themes.
• ₹4,000 to ₹8,000: ring backdrops lit by a neon Happy Birthday sign, the 50th surprise with an LED age, unicorn and Cocomelon walls, and the bohemian backdrop with its cake table.
• ₹8,000 and above: sequin backdrops and fully customised themes, like a dinosaur world or a custom Avengers set.

The only other charge is a small convenience fee for paying online, and nothing is charged for the visit.

Kids' Parties in RWA Halls and Community Centres

When the guest list outgrows the drawing room, many Delhi families book their colony's RWA hall or an MCD community centre for a child's birthday. Book the hall first, then send us its address, the caretaker's number and the time the doors open. Halls are often let out back to back, so ask for at least an hour before your guests arrive, and find out where the nearest working plug point is.

Tell us how many children are coming, too. A big hall needs a bigger backdrop, and our team can suggest a design that fills the wall without crowding the floor the kids will play on.

A Parent's 50th or 60th Birthday

A parent's milestone birthday in Delhi usually means relatives from across the city and a long evening of photos. Put the setup where the family will actually gather, often behind the sofa where your parents will sit, so every picture has them in front of it. Gold, white and chrome suit these birthdays better than bright party colours.

Think of the older guests as well. Ask our decorator to keep balloons off the walkways, because loose balloons on the floor are easy to trip on, and keep a chair beside the cake table. If the party is at your parents' home and you live elsewhere, pay in full online and give us a relative's number at the house, so nobody there is asked for money.

Why Delhi Families Choose Giftlaya for Birthdays

• Decorators with steady hands. Birthday setups are their daily work, so arches come out even and foil letters sit straight.
• Details agreed in advance. Our decorator phones you before the day to fix the colour scheme and the name or number going up.
• One all-in price. Balloons, foils, lights, travel and the setup itself are part of it.
• Walls left as they were. Paper tape holds everything up, so there are no nail holes, glue marks or drilling.
• Two hours for a fix. Spot anything off in the first two hours after the setup, and we will make it right.

Last-Minute and Midnight Birthday Setups in Delhi

A same-day booking usually works if it reaches us two to three hours before the slot. Our day starts at 9 AM and the last slot ends at 11 PM. Most designs get a two-hour window and the largest ones three hours, and a midnight birthday needs the final 9 PM to 11 PM slot. Saturday evenings go first.

In December and January, thick morning fog can slow our decorators on the road, so an afternoon or evening slot is the safer choice in those weeks.

Birthday Decorators Near You in Every Part of Delhi

In South Delhi, we work in Saket, Malviya Nagar, Hauz Khas, Greater Kailash, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji, Vasant Kunj and Chhatarpur. In the west, we cover Janakpuri, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Paschim Vihar, Vikaspuri, Uttam Nagar and Dwarka; in the north, Rohini, Pitampura, Shalimar Bagh, Model Town, Kamla Nagar and Mukherjee Nagar; and in the east, Laxmi Nagar, Mayur Vihar, Preet Vihar, Patparganj and Shahdara, with Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar and Rajinder Nagar in the centre. With your order, include the block and house number and a landmark our decorator can ask for.

Is the party across the border? Choose the city where it is happening, so the nearest team takes it: our birthday decoration in Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad works the same way.

Before Our Decorator Arrives

Clear the wall you want decorated and move the furniture away. Our decorator will need a chair, or a ladder if your ceiling tops ten feet, and a plug point or extension cord close to the wall. A hotel room needs the hotel's permission, and a PG or hostel room needs the owner's or warden's.

Expect the decorator to be done within about an hour and a half at home, a little longer in a hall. You keep the balloons; the frames and props are rented, and our team picks them up the next day. Pull the paper tape off slowly, and if a strip resists, a little warm air from a hair dryer frees it.
