Balloon Decoration in Kolkata at Home, for Every Celebration

Balloon Decoration in Kolkata, Set Up Right at Your Home

Kolkata knows how to celebrate, and a room full of balloons is one of the easiest ways to set the mood. Giftlaya's balloon decoration service brings that to your door. Choose a design online, pick a date and a two-hour slot, and one of our trained decorators arrives with every balloon, stand, backdrop and light the design needs. About an hour later, your room is ready and the packing is cleared away.

Setups start from ₹1,499. The price you see includes the material, the setup and the decorator's travel. Book two to three hours before your slot, and we can usually do it the same day.

Why Kolkata Families Book Their Balloon Decorator With Giftlaya

• Trained, regular decorators. Our Kolkata team works with us all year round, so you get tidy arches, evenly sized balloons and neatly hidden wires.
• From your side of the city. A decorator based nearby means EM Bypass or VIP Road traffic does not wreck your timing.
• Nothing extra at the door. The online price is the full price, and no one will ask you for cash for tape or travel. Choose full payment online, or half now for a home setup with the rest paid after the work is done.
• No nails, no glue, no drilling. We use only paper tape, and on delicate walls we can build on a free-standing stand instead.
• A two-hour promise. Report any problem within two hours of the setup and we will make it right.

Balloon Decoration for Birthdays, Mukhe Bhaat, Shaad and More

We decorate for every celebration in Kolkata, not just birthdays:

• Birthdays for all ages, from a baby's first to a grandparent's 75th, plus late-night surprises. See our birthday decoration in Kolkata.
• Kids' parties built around their favourite character, with cut-outs and theme colours, from our kids birthday decoration.
• Mukhe bhaat, with a backdrop behind the seat where the baby tastes the first rice and room kept for the thali and the elders. Our annaprashan decoration has the traditional floral versions too.
• Shaad and baby showers, with pastel balloons around the mother-to-be's seat. See our baby shower decoration in Kolkata.
• A baby coming home, with our baby welcome decoration in Kolkata, finished before you leave the hospital.
• Anniversaries, proposals and weddings, with soft setups for two and the first night room.
• Christmas, New Year and office parties. Kolkata loves its Christmas, and a balloon corner at home or at work fits right in. See our festival decoration.

What Does Balloon Decoration Cost in Kolkata?

Bigger setups cost more; the occasion itself does not change the price. Roughly:

• ₹1,499 to ₹2,000: a simple wall of balloons in two shades, with a banner.
• ₹2,000 to ₹3,000: a photo backdrop with a ring or sequin panel, foil letters and warm lights.
• ₹3,000 to ₹4,500: kids' theme setups and fuller arches.
• ₹4,500 to ₹7,000: milestone setups with props and a decorated photo corner.
• ₹7,000 upwards: clubhouse, hall and made-to-order setups.

There is also a small convenience fee, which checkout shows before you pay. We charge nothing for the visit.

Booking Around Durga Puja, Heavy Rain and Traffic

Three Kolkata things change how early you should book. During Durga Puja, many roads close or crawl near the big pandals, so book a few days ahead and choose a morning slot where you can. In the monsoon, heavy rain can flood some roads for a few hours; if that happens, our decorator calls you with a new arrival time rather than leaving you guessing. And on weekday evenings, allow for office traffic on the main roads when you pick your slot.

Old Houses, Narrow Lanes and High Ceilings

Many families in North and Central Kolkata live in older houses. These homes often have ceilings well above ten feet, staircases instead of lifts, and lanes too narrow for a car. None of this stops us. Keep a ladder ready for a high ceiling, tell us which floor you are on, and give a clear landmark so our decorator can find the house and carry the material the last stretch on foot.

If your walls have old or flaking paint, mention it in the order notes. We will put more of the setup on a free-standing stand, so less of it is taped to the wall.

How Fast Can a Decorator Reach Me in Kolkata?

Usually the same day. Most designs need two to three hours' notice, and slots run from 9 AM to 11 PM in two-hour windows. For a surprise at midnight, choose 9 PM to 11 PM. Weekend evenings go first, so reserve those a few days ahead.

Which Parts of Kolkata Do You Cover?

The whole city. These areas each have a local team:

Salt Lake, New Town and Rajarhat, Bangur and Lake Town, Phool Bagan and Kankurgachi, Ballygunge, Bhowanipore, New Alipore, Jadavpur, Santoshpur and Garia.

We also reach Behala, Tollygunge, Kasba, Gariahat, Park Street, Dum Dum, Baguiati, Shyambazar and Howrah. For a housing complex, add the tower, flat number and the guard's number to your order notes.

On the Day: Getting Ready, the Setup and Clean-Up

Getting ready: empty the wall you want decorated, keep a chair or ladder for the decorator, and make sure a plug point or extension cord reaches the wall for the lights. For a hotel room, take the hotel's okay first.

The setup: one decorator for most homes, two for a hall. Our design photos show real setups built by our team, so what arrives matches what you chose. If a colour has run out, you get a call before work starts, and you see the finished result before the decorator leaves.

Clean-up: the balloons stay with you, and we collect the rented frames and props the next day. Ease the paper tape off gently, with a little hair dryer heat on any piece that sticks.
