Birthday Decoration for Baby Boy at Home - First Birthday Themes

Birthday Decoration for Your Baby Boy, Done at Home

A first birthday comes once, and the photos from it stay on the family phone for years. Parents who want the best birthday decoration for their baby boy, without a late night of blowing up balloons, book Giftlaya. Choose a theme and a slot online, and our decorator arrives with the balloons, foils, backdrop and stands, builds the setup in your home and clears away every scrap of packing.

Baby boy birthday setups start from ₹1,999, with the material, the decorating and the decorator's travel included. Most can be booked with two to three hours' notice, in any of the cities where our decorators work.

Baby Boy Birthday Themes to Choose From

• Jungle and Wild One: animal foils, his name in foil and the age on a balloon pillar, from a simple arch to a custom-printed backdrop or a sequin wall with a giraffe cut-out and an LED age.
• Boss Baby and Baby Shark: two cartoon themes made for the very young, as arches, hall setups or printed backdrops.
• Cars and space: car foils with a number pillar, or an astronaut with a moon, a spaceship and stars.
• Teddy bears and pastels: a soft teddy bear backdrop with a cake table, or a pastel ring with a neon Happy Birthday sign.
• Superheroes and cartoons for toddlers: Spiderman with his name, the Avengers, Mickey, Minions, Cocomelon and Peppa Pig.

Character setups for older boys are in our kids birthday decoration.

Planning a First Birthday Around a One-Year-Old

A one-year-old sets the schedule, not the guests. Plan the cake cutting for the time of day he is usually at his happiest, which for many babies is after a nap and a feed, and book a slot that finishes at least an hour before that, so the room is calm when he is carried into it. For a lunchtime party, a morning slot works well.

For the photos, the decoration needs a focus at his height. Put a floor mat, a small chair or his high chair in front of the backdrop, and he sits right in the centre of every picture. Keep the cake table sturdy and a little out of reach, and ask a family member to collect burst balloon pieces straight away, because they are not safe around a crawling baby.

Colours for a Boy's Birthday, Beyond Baby Blue

• Blue and white, or blue and silver: the classic look, clean in photos and easy to match with a cake.
• Navy and gold: a smarter take on blue for a first birthday with a big guest list.
• Sage, beige and white: a soft, earthy palette that suits a jungle or Wild One theme.
• Red, blue and yellow: bright primary colours for cars, superheroes and Mickey.
• Pastels: boys can wear pastels too, and a pastel ring or rainbow looks soft and modern.

Many designs can be done in the colours you choose, and our decorator confirms them with you on the call before the day.

Why Parents Book Giftlaya for Their Son's Birthday

• Decorators used to kids' parties. Themed setups fill much of their week, so characters face the right way, foils sit straight and the arch is full.
• His name, spelled right. Before the day, we call to confirm his name, his age and the colours.
• A price that includes everything. Balloons, foils, stands, travel and the setup itself.
• Kind to your home. Paper tape holds the setup, with no nails and no glue.
• Help if something is off. You have two hours after the setup to tell us, and we will put it right.

Timing, Slots and Same-Day Booking

Same-day setups are usually possible when you book two to three hours ahead. Every baby boy design is booked in a two-hour slot, and slots run from 9 AM to 11 PM. Weekends fill up first, so reserve a Saturday or Sunday party a few days early.

On the Day of the Setup

Clear the wall you have chosen and move the furniture aside. Our decorator needs a chair to stand on, or a ladder if your ceiling is higher than ten feet, and designs with a neon sign or fairy lights need a socket or an extension cord near the wall. For a party in a banquet hall or a hotel, get the venue's permission first.

An arch is usually up within an hour, and printed backdrops and rings take a little longer. After the party, the balloons are his to keep; the rented stands, cake tables and props are collected by our team the next day. Take the paper tape down slowly, and warm any stubborn piece with a hair dryer.

Book His Birthday Decoration With Giftlaya

Pick the theme, the date and the slot. For a home setup, pay 50% online and the rest to our decorator after the setup, or pay it all now; a first birthday cake or any other cake in the same order makes it a full online payment. If his first year also brings an annaprashan or a mundan, our annaprashan decoration and mundan ceremony decoration are booked the same way. Not sure which theme suits your room? Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.
