Under three, parents usually choose pastel, jungle or Cocomelon; from three to six a character theme; from six onwards superheroes, space, sports and candy themes.

One themed wall: a balloon wall or small printed backdrop in the theme colours on the widest plain wall, the character cut-outs on either side, the child's name and age in the middle and the cake table in front. Keep it low and soft, because the child cannot stand yet: a backdrop behind a small seat or cushion, a large number 1 or a 1/2 foil for a half birthday, pastel balloons and the cake table set low so the parents are in the photo. Balloon and simple theme setups can usually be booked the same day in most of our 68 cities with three to four hours' notice, in two-hour slots from 9 AM to 11 PM. Printed theme backdrops need two to three days because they are printed with your child's name and age. Weekend afternoon slots go first, so book those by midweek.

Yes, with the usual care. Decorators use good-quality balloons, damage-free tape and freestanding frames, and keep cut-outs and stands out of the play area where they can. Keep burst balloon pieces away from children under three, and tell us in the order notes if you would rather have no helium or no small props at floor level.

Any listed theme can be made in your colours with your child's name and age, and the Customized Theme designs are built from your brief if the character or idea your child wants is not in the catalog. Share a reference picture in the order notes and the decorator confirms the artwork and props on the call. Printed custom backdrops need two to three days' notice.
