Balloon Decoration in Howrah at Home - Birthdays & Wedding Functions

Balloon Decoration in Howrah, From Bally to Santragachi

A birthday in a Shibpur flat, a baby's first days at home in Salkia, a new bride's welcome in a Bally house: Giftlaya's balloon decoration service in Howrah decorates them all. Pick a design and a time slot online, and a trained decorator comes with the balloons, backdrop, stands and lights, sets everything up and takes the packing away.

Howrah setups start from ₹1,499, with the material, labour and travel included. Book two to three hours ahead and we can usually make it the same day.

Why Howrah Families Choose Giftlaya

• Decorators who know balloons. Setups like these are their daily work, so arches stay even, colours stay balanced and the lights sit neatly behind the balloons.
• Based on this side of the river. Your booking goes to a decorator working in Howrah, so the slot does not depend on a bridge crossing.
• A clear, final amount. Tape, stands, lights, travel and labour are included in the checkout total. Pay it in full online, or book a home setup with 50% and hand over the balance once the decoration is ready.
• No marks left behind. Paper tape holds the balloons, and we never use nails, glue or a drill on your walls.
• Help inside two hours. Tell us within two hours of the setup if something is not right, and we will fix it.

Howrah Balloon Decoration Costs

Here is what you can expect to spend:

• ₹1,499 to ₹2,000: a balloon wall in two colours with a banner, enough for a small family celebration.
• ₹2,000 to ₹3,000: a fuller backdrop with a ring or sequin panel, foil letters and warm lights.
• ₹3,000 to ₹4,500: kids' themes with character cut-outs and bigger arches.
• ₹4,500 to ₹7,000: wedding function, anniversary and milestone setups with props.
• ₹7,000 and above: hall and custom designs, up to our largest setups.

At checkout, the only extra is a small convenience fee, and the decorator's visit costs nothing.

Bou Baran, Bou Bhaat and Phool Shojja Decoration

A Bengali wedding does not end at the mandap. When the new bride arrives at her in-laws' home for Bou Baran, a balloon arch at the door and a board with the couple's names make the welcome, and the first photos, special. For Bou Bhaat, the reception at the groom's home, we build a backdrop where the couple can greet guests and pose for pictures. For Phool Shojja, the wedding night, our first night decoration dresses the room with flowers, soft lights and balloons.

Wedding days are packed, so book each function as its own order with its own slot, and give us the number of one relative who will be at home throughout.

Crossing the Hooghly: Timing Your Howrah Booking

If you live in Kolkata and are booking for family in Howrah, choose Howrah as the city, so a decorator on this side of the river is assigned. Traffic on the approaches to Howrah Bridge and Vidyasagar Setu, and around Howrah station, is heaviest at office hours, so for an evening surprise, pick a slot that ends well before the family gets home. Guests coming over from Kolkata can take the metro to Howrah Maidan, which now runs under the river.

During Durga Puja and Kali Puja, pandal crowds slow the roads in the evenings, so book a morning slot on those days. In heavy monsoon rain, some Howrah roads flood quickly, and our decorator will call if the arrival time has to change.

Booking for Today in Howrah

Most days, a same-day booking is fine. Allow two to three hours from booking to your slot. Setups happen between 9 AM and 11 PM, in two-hour slots for most designs and three-hour slots for the biggest. A surprise at midnight needs the 9 PM to 11 PM slot. Weekend evenings and the wedding season go first, so book those well ahead.

Howrah Areas We Cover

We decorate homes in Shibpur, Kadamtala, Dasnagar, Santragachi, Ramrajatala, Jagacha, Bantra, Salkia, Golabari, Pilkhana, Tikiapara, Belgachia, Liluah, Belur, Bally, Andul Road, Domjur, Mandirtala, Howrah Maidan and along the Kona Expressway. Add your house or flat number, the para or complex name and a landmark to the booking.

What Happens on Setup Day

What to arrange: a clear wall with furniture moved off it, a chair for our decorator, or a ladder if the ceiling is more than ten feet high, and a socket or an extension cord close to the wall. Many older Howrah homes have high ceilings, so the ladder often matters. A hotel room needs the hotel's permission first.

The visit: one decorator comes for most homes, and two for a hall. A balloon wall takes about 45 minutes; a full backdrop, about an hour and a half. If a colour has run out, our decorator calls you to pick another before starting, and shows you the finished setup before leaving.

Afterwards: the balloons are yours, and the rented frames and props are collected the next day. Ease the paper tape off slowly, warming any stubborn bit with a hair dryer.
