Railpar, Burnpur and the Ghagar Buri Mela

The railway lines split Asansol in two, with Railpar on the far side, and the crossings and over-bridges get jammed at peak hours, so allow extra time for a slot across the tracks. In the Burnpur steel township and the railway colonies, give your quarter number and block. Around Makar Sankranti in January, the fair at the Ghagar Buri Chandi temple draws big crowds to the roads nearby, and during Durga Puja the pandals are busy every evening. Giftlaya will plan the timing with you on those days.

Living farther out, in Raniganj, Kulti or Barakar? Message us your location first and we will confirm what is possible.

Same-Day Slots in Asansol

Book at least two to three hours before your slot and we can usually come that day. Our slots begin at 9 AM, and the last one, 9 PM to 11 PM, is for a birthday at midnight. Puja weekends fill fast.

Book Your Asansol Setup Through Giftlaya

Keep the wall bare, a chair handy for our decorator, or a ladder if the ceiling tops ten feet, and an extension cord or socket within reach; if it is a hotel room, the hotel should approve it first. Homes usually need one decorator and halls two, and a setup lasts 45 to 90 minutes. If a colour is missing on the day, we phone you to choose another before starting. You keep the balloons, and the rented frames and props are collected the following day.

Choose a design, date and slot, and pay online, either the full price or 50% for a home setup. Add a cake or flowers to the order, and send us a room photo on WhatsApp for a design idea.
