Hills, Steps and Monsoon Rain in Guwahati

Guwahati is built around hills, and many homes in areas like Hengrabari, Kharguli, Birubari and Nabagraha are reached by steps or a steep lane. If yours is one of them, tell us when you book and let us know where our decorator can park, so the stands and backdrop can be carried up without a delay.

The monsoon runs from May to September, and heavy rain can waterlog roads such as Anil Nagar, Nabin Nagar, Zoo Road and Rukminigaon within an hour. On those days, keep the setup indoors and allow extra time; if a road floods, our decorator will call you with a new arrival time. Giftlaya keeps the booking in place and simply adjusts the timing with you.

Same-Day Balloon Setups in Guwahati

Yes, on most days, provided you book two to three hours before the slot. Slots run from 9 AM to 11 PM, mostly in two-hour windows, and 9 PM to 11 PM is the slot for a midnight surprise. Bihu week and Durga Puja evenings are busy, so book those early.

Booking Your Giftlaya Setup in Guwahati

Keep a clear wall, a chair for our decorator, or a ladder for a ceiling taller than ten feet, and a plug point or extension cord near the wall; hotel rooms need the hotel's permission. One decorator comes for most homes and two for a hall, and setups take 45 to 90 minutes. If a colour is unavailable, we call you first. The balloons are yours afterwards, and our team collects the rented props the next day.

Pick a design, date and slot, and pay online, the full amount or half for a home setup. Add a cake or flowers to the order, and WhatsApp us a photo of the room if you want a suggestion.
