As a vendor, you set your own pricing, define your serviceable areas, and manage your availability through a simple vendor dashboard. Our team handles customer support, payment processing, and platform promotion — so you can focus entirely on your craft. Real questions from vendors before they registered
Any individual or business that offers gifts, cakes, flower bouquets, balloon decoration, chocolates, personalised items, or event services can register. This includes home-based bakers, freelance decorators, flower shops, gift boutiques, sweet shops, and corporate event planners. If you can deliver a quality service in your city, you are eligible.
After you submit your registration, our vendor onboarding team reviews your profile within 2–3 business days. You will receive a confirmation via WhatsApp or email once your account is approved and ready to receive orders. If any information is missing or needs clarification, our team will reach out to you directly.
Our commission structure is transparent and communicated in detail during onboarding. It varies by category and order type, typically ranging between 15–25% per order. There are no registration fees, no monthly charges, and no hidden deductions. You only pay a commission when you successfully complete an order — we earn only when you earn.
You do not need a commercial shop to register. Many of our top-performing vendors — including bakers, decorators, and gift makers — operate entirely from home. As long as you can consistently deliver quality service and meet delivery timelines in your city, you are fully eligible to join as a vendor.
For most categories such as cakes, flower bouquets, and balloon decoration, the vendor is responsible for delivery to the customer's address within the city. You can define your serviceable radius and delivery time slots through your dashboard. Giftlaya coordinates order details and customer communication, so you always know exactly where and when to deliver.
Absolutely. Giftlaya does not require exclusivity. Many of our vendors simultaneously operate on Zomato, Swiggy, Instagram, or other local platforms. You are free to manage your business across multiple channels while also selling on Giftlaya. Your pricing and availability on our platform are completely independent of what you offer elsewhere.
No, GST registration is not mandatory to join Giftlaya. You can register and start receiving orders without a GSTIN. However, if your annual turnover exceeds the applicable GST threshold (currently ₹20 lakhs for most service providers, ₹10 lakhs in special category states), you will be required to provide your GSTIN for tax compliance. You can update this information in your vendor profile at any time.
Your earnings are calculated based on the order value minus the applicable platform commission. Payments are settled weekly to your registered bank account — no manual follow-up needed. You will receive a detailed payout summary for each settlement cycle through your vendor dashboard and via WhatsApp notification.
We understand that emergencies happen. If you are unable to fulfil a confirmed order, please mark it as unfulfillable in your vendor dashboard and inform us as soon as possible — ideally well before the delivery window. Our team will attempt to reassign the order to minimise customer impact. Frequent unfulfilled orders may affect your vendor ranking, so we encourage vendors to manage their availability settings proactively.
Once your vendor account is active, you will have full access to a vendor dashboard where you can manage everything independently — product listings, photos, descriptions, pricing, delivery fees, service areas, and availability windows. You can make changes at any time without contacting support. Our onboarding team will walk you through the dashboard setup before you go live.
