Every cake we offer is handcrafted and since each chef has his/her way of baking and designing a cake, there might be slight variation in the product in terms of design and shape.
The chosen delivery time is an estimate and depends on the product's availability and the destination to which you want the product delivered.
Since cakes are perishable, we attempt delivery of your order only once.
The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address.
This product is hand-delivered and will not be delivered along with courier products.
Occasionally, substitutions of flavors /designs is necessary due to temporary and regional unavailability issues.
If the delivery location is out of our shipping zone we may charge you extra shipping charges, our team will contact you regarding this.
The company has the right to cancel your order if the delivery address is beyond our delivery zone and a refund will be done.

Cancellation Policy

For regular cake orders, a minimum of 2-day prior notice is required for cancellations. For large or special cakes, a minimum of 4-days prior notice is required. No refunds will be issued once the 24-hour delivery window begins.
To request a cancellation, send an email to cancellation@giftlaya.com with the subject line “Cancellation Request”, including Order ID and reason for cancellation.
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the cancellation request is confirmed and credited to the original payment method.
Refunds are applicable in the following cases: If the order was cancelled on time / the order was not delivered (except when the recipient is unavailable) or valid product quality complaints, following verification, will result in either a full refund or replacement.
Refunds are only granted in cases of service failure and are subject to management's evaluation. The refund amount will not exceed the total amount paid.
No refunds are available for discounted or exempted amounts.
Any additional amount credited to Giftlaya may be used for order enhancements but will not be refunded.
Refunds will not be issued if the receiver denies accepting the order.
Giftlaya reserves the final authority in all cancellation and refund matters.
Giftlaya may update its policy from time to time. Substantial changes will be communicated via email or on the website.

1.Do you provide Cash on Delivery (COD) option?

No, we do not provide COD option for a simple reason that the sender of the gift (who buys the gift & is responsible for the payment) is invariably different from the recipient of the gift.

Yes, we offer same-day delivery for select cakes if the order is placed before the cut-off time

3.Are your cakes suitable for special dietary requirements?

We offer a variety of cakes, including eggless , sugar free and gluten-free options. Please check the product details or contact customer service for specific dietary needs.

4.Can I have a Personalized Message on the Cake?

Of course you can! While filling the details in the product section, kindly specify your Message in the "Message on Cake" field. Please keep it short

5.Does giftlaya provides midnight delivery as well? Is there any extra charge for it?

Yes, we do provide midnight delivery. The midnight delivery time is from 11:00 PM to 11:59 PM. Although we try our best to deliver order as close to 23:59 as possible, it is always suggested to have midnight orders placed well on time. We charge Rs. 250 extra for midnight delivery.

6.Will you deliver fresh cakes?

A cake's true flavor is best enjoyed when it's fresh. That's why all our cakes are freshly prepared shortly before delivery. Customers can choose their preferred delivery time, allowing us to ensure every cake is made and delivered at its freshest. We are committed to never delivering stale cakes.

7.Can I get customized cakes for my kid’s birthday?

Yes! At giftlaya, you will find many wonderful customization options for cakes. For your kid's birthday, go for the best photo or poster cakes with your kid’s photograph or their favorite character themed cake. You can also choose the flavor of the cake according to your needs, and in some cases, we also offer shape customization.
